As a child that seen so much cruelty and evil at such a young age, I learned quickly that the real monsters weren't under the bed or hiding in the closet or lurking in the dark. They were out in broad daylight, and they were human. As a mother that has experienced all of those things and strived to provide a better life for my children, one that will not have them seeing a therapist once or twice a week and one that will give them the confidence and self-worth that I wished I had... I write this blog and share my story to raise awareness. I share my story to help others that have been through it know they are not alone. I share my story to help parents that may have a child that has gone through it get some insight into the mind of a child after abuse. I share my story so that awareness is spread that just because the assaulter or abuser has pulled their jail time and the act has stopped, the trauma does not stop. I plan to reach as many people as I possibly can through my blog, Facebook and Instagram platforms. I am currently in the process of starting a podcast to reach out even further. I have to know that I survived what I went through for a reason. I have to take all the darkness and find a way to convert it into light to share. My journey has just begun. If you would like to contribute in any way, please share my blogs. Follow me on FB and IG and share those pages with your friends. And if you would like to help monetarily, please send to Cash App $feistymommy or Venmo @feistymommy. It is taking a while to build my audience, but I am determined and will not quit. If I reach one person, it's worth it to me. -Feisty Mommy
